CIC is Seeking a President and Research Director

The Canadian International Council (CIC) is seeking a President and Research Director who has a passion for global affairs, Canada’s role in the world, and the importance of related civil society dialogue. The President and Research Director needs to be a multidimensional leader who can manage and motivate staff and volunteers, fund-raise through collaboration with stake-holders, work with CIC fellows and the editors of the CIC’s flagship publication the ‘International Journal,’ and oversee and ensure the vitality of the CIC’s website and social media presence.

Founded in 1928, the CIC is the country’s leading forum for Canadians to consider Canada’s engagement in the world. The CIC is a trusted venue for non-partisan discussion through our 15 branches across the country with over 1,100 members, and through our research, publications, and electronic presence. This is a full-time job, in Toronto at the CIC’s headquarters, on the downtown campus of the University of Toronto. Application deadline is August 17, 2018.
